Consultation costs vary according to the clinic the assessment take place.
The fee includes the initial consultation of approximately one and a half hours and handouts and information given at the time of the assessment. Following the consultation a detailed report is sent to the owners and a covering letter to the referring veterinary surgeon.
Owners are asked to maintain weekly contact with Carrie via e mail or with a training assistant via telephone after the consultation to assess and discuss their pet’s progress.
A non-refundable / non-transferable deposit is required within three days of booking to secure the appointment.
The remainder of the fee is due at the time of the appointment.
On receipt of the deposit a confirmation letter is sent along with directions to the clinic.
Home visits can be arranged if this is preferred or where this is felt to be of benefit. However, this incurs further expenses to cover travel.
Most insurance companies will cover the cost of behaviour consultations on referral from your veterinary surgeon. In these cases you are advised to check your individual policy or contact the company involved.
Due to the nature of bookings we are unable to refund deposits with less than 4 weeks notice as it is impossible to reallocate an appointment within this time scale.
